OTPC was founded to address the steady decline in Trauma specific careers that has occurred on an annual basis, eroding the access to care and the unique intellectual capital that is specific to Fracture care and Trauma solutions that can be enhanced only with individual longevity.


Methodology:
An in-depth longitudinal study of failed attempts to create or maintain a Trauma-specific career model was performed over a 10 year period was undertaken, and the forces and factors that impacted the individual practitioner and the system which he/she was working in were analyzed. The universal finding being that Trauma is not a career path for our Surgeons, Industry Partners, Nurses, or Hospital Personnel.
